It was early morning on Monday, July 28, 2014.
We walked along Ataturk Blvd, absorbing beautiful landscape of Kusadasi, a resort town on Turkey's Aegean coast. Suddenly, we were struck by a pack of stray dogs racing up towards a hill, leaving us an echo of loud barks.
We were still wondering what was going on when we saw a big Labrador walked slowly in pain. We stopped and called that dog. Strangely the dog came over, laid down and raised up her front leg. What a poor dog! Her front left leg was bleeding, we did not know why. She was like begging for a help. We looked around and saw a security on the gate to a yacht point, but he seemed no intention to help us. My mom cried to see such a poor thing. She knelt down and rubbed the bleeding leg with a tear drop of huge love.
what a relieve!
Sadly we could not take her back to our country since we were there as tourists. Well, knowing she was healed enough to walk back to her pack and puppies really then brightened up our morning. That strange experience has shown us one thing: love can heal a wound.
